Overview of Program
The certificate program as a Protection Officer at Smart Horizons Career Online High School teaches and prepares students to obtain a Certified Protection Officer (CPO) and employment as a security guard and/or a protection officer. Courses include information related to report writing, physical security, emergency procedures, workplace violence, traffic control, fire prevention, use of force, and operational risk management.
